D-DAY

D-Day is about the invasion of Normandy. I have learned a little so far I learned that their are two beaches that the allies had to take, their names are OMAHA and UTAH beach. D-DAY occured on June 6th 1944. The plan for D-DAY was to capture the beaches and push into Nomandy then into France. D-DAY was not like most invasions they only sheled and bombed the beaches for 2 hours most invasions the bombing lasted for hours or even days.
