D-Day is about the invasion of Normandy. I have learned a little so far I learned that their are two beaches that the allies had to take, their names are OMAHA and UTAH beach. I am reading Judy blume Double Fudge i read it with cheyenne.Its about this boy named Fudge and he didnt know what kind of shoes he wanted so he told his mom can he get two shoes.And she said no and then he wouldnt leave the store.So he payed for it and it was only fudge bucks and the so the person didnt take it so his mom payed for it.His mom gont mad at Fudge for being so rude.Its a really good book.

Hatchet is about a boy named Brian who is going to visit his farther in in the oilfields. His parents are divorced and his mother lives in New York. On the way to the air port his mother gives him a hatchet. He gets on a bush plane and begins his journey flying over the wilderness. About half way their the pilot has a heart attack and dies Brian begins to freak out. He starts to think some and starts to try to fly the plane he remembers that the plane was jerked to the right when the pilot died. So now he is off course about two hours later the plane sputters and crashes near a lake. Since Brian lived in the city all his life he did not have the first clue what to do.

The second night in he heard something in the wood's he didn't pay it no mind so he went to bed when he was awaken a large beast was carrying him.He said the creature was around six feet in height an looked to weigh around five hundred pounds. The beast carried him to a cave he saw a female and two kids. He stayed with the family for two days. He escaped when he got the creatures interested in his tobacco. That is when he escaped, he did not tell anybody about is experience until five year's later when somebody else reported a sighting.
