Hachet

Hatchet is about a boy named Brian who is going to visit his farther in in the oilfields. His parents are divorced and his mother lives in New York. On the way to the air port his mother gives him a hatchet. He gets on a bush plane and begins his journey flying over the wilderness. About half way their the pilot has a heart attack and dies Brian begins to freak out. He starts to think some and starts to try to fly the plane he remembers that the plane was jerked to the right when the pilot died. So now he is off course about two hours later the plane sputters and crashes near a lake. Since Brian lived in the city all his life he did not have the first clue what to do.
