I'm reading A Series of Unfortunate Events The Wide Window by Lemony Snicket. In this story Violet, Klaus, and Sunny went to live with there Aunt Josephine, but a few days later she jump out the window over the loss of her husband Ike. The children think the Count Olaf pushed her over because the note states that the children are to live with the sailor that they meet just the day before. They suspected Count Olaf wrote the note.So the are trying to find away to not live with him.
