I am reading the book Esperanza Rising. Esperanza just heard that mama will be getting out of the hospital soon. Mama said she already wants to see the rose buds from El Racho De Las Rosas. Miguel has left with all the money Esperanza had saved for Abuelita's travel to see Mama and Esperanza. They haven't seen Abuelita for almost a year!
