The book Saving Zasha is about a boy named Mikhail at the end of world war 2 finds a bleeding man and hisGerman Sheperd Zasha in the woods. When the dogs owner dies he is fighting to keep Zasha safe from being killed by his fellow russians.Because of what happend in that war. Now the Germans are hated in Russia even German Sheperds.
